What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 4:00 pm and check-out is at 12:00 pm.
Do you offer early check-in or late check-out? Is there a fee?
Our guaranteed check-in time is 4:00 pm. If you request an early check-in, we are happy to make note of this on your reservation, but we cannot guarantee that this request will be accommodated.
What is the hotel’s cancellation policy?
You can cancel your stay 14 days prior to the reserved arrival date for all cottages except for the Kennedy Cottage and the Warner Cottage. These two cottages are non-refundable at the time of booking. Holiday bookings have a 30-day cancellation policy.
Is the front desk staffed 24 hours a day?
Yes, the front desk is staffed 24 hours a day.
What is the minimum age to check in?
The minimum age to check in is 18 years old.
Parking & Transportation
Is parking available at the hotel?
Yes, valet parking is available for Stonehouse Restaurant guests and guests of the Speakeasy. Guests staying at San Ysidro Ranch will have a private parking space conveniently located outside of their cottage.
Is parking free or is there a fee?
Parking is free at San Ysidro Ranch for both valet and in-house guests.
Do you offer valet parking?
Yes, valet parking is offered at San Ysidro Ranch.
Do you have EV charging stations?
Yes, every cottage has EV charging stations at each parking space. EV charging is also offered for restaurant valet guests though there is limited availability.
Is airport transportation or shuttle service available?
Shuttle service is not provided at San Ysidro Ranch. However, we are happy to coordinate transportation as requested.
Are there taxi or rideshare services nearby?
There are both taxi and rideshare services available in Santa Barbara and Montecito.
Rooms & Amenities
What types of rooms do you offer?
We offer studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom accommodations, all as individually designed and decorated cottages. The Kennedy Cottage and Warner Cottage are our premier two-bedroom specialty cottages.
Are there accessible rooms available?
Yes, there are two accessible cottages available at San Ysidro Ranch. These would be Sycamore Cottage and Terrace Cottage.
Are the rooms pet friendly?
Yes, all cottages at San Ysidro Ranch are pet friendly. There is a one-time per stay $250 pet fee associated with bringing pets to the property.
Do rooms include a mini fridge/microwave/coffee maker?
All cottages include a mini fridge and coffee maker. Microwaves are available upon request.
Is there complimentary Wi-Fi in the rooms and public areas?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is offered both in the cottage and in public areas.
Do the rooms have air conditioning/heating?
Yes, all cottages have heating and air conditioning.
Are cribs or rollaway beds available?
Yes, cribs and rollaway beds are available upon request.
Do you offer housekeeping daily?
Yes, daily housekeeping service is offered, as well as turndown service in the evening.
Dining
Is there an on-site restaurant or bar?
The award-winning Stonehouse Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily; Sunday Afternoons the Stonehouse serves its coveted ‘Champagne Brunch’. The Speakeasy is open nightly from 5pm to close. Live music starts in Speakeasy nightly at 7pm.
Do you offer room service?
Yes, in-room dining is available and can be ordered throughout the property.

Do you have a pool? Is it heated/indoor/outdoor?
Yes, we have an outdoor pool, which is heated to 82 degrees.
Is there a fitness center or gym on-site?
Yes, there is a fitness center open 24 hours.
Do you offer spa services?
Yes, the Salon & Spa at San Ysidro Ranch offers a variety of signature treatments and services featuring essential oils with ingredients grown on property, luxurious aesthetic products from leading European skincare lines, and world-renowned haircare products from Shu Uemura.
Location & Nearby Attractions
How far are you from the airport/downtown/beach/major landmarks?
The Santa Barbara Airport is 20-25 minutes from San Ysidro Ranch by car. Downtown Santa Barbara is 10-15 minutes away by car. The beach is only a 5 minute drive.
Pets
Do you allow pets? What is your pet policy?
Yes, we allow pets and are delighted to offer our extensive Pampered Pets Program. All cottages are pet-friendly, with amenities including plush bedding, branded bowls, homemade treats, and in-room pet dining menus.
There is a one time per stay $250 pet fee associated with bringing pets to the property.
Safety & Policies
What safety measures or security features does the hotel have?
We have a guard house at the entrance to the property to ensure only hotel guests or guests attending the restaurant are able to enter the property.
Do you have a smoking policy?
San Ysidro Ranch is a completely non-smoking property.
Are there any additional resort or facility fees?
No, there is not. All fees such as parking and resort fees are included in the room rate. Taxes are the only additional item added to the room rate.
Additional Guest Services
Do you offer luggage storage?
Yes, guests are welcome to store their luggage with the front desk.
Can I ship packages to the hotel?
Yes, guests are welcome to ship items in advance of their stay.
Do you offer laundry or dry cleaning services?
Yes, laundry and dry cleaning services are offered with an additional charge.
Is there a concierge or guest services desk?
The guest services team located at the front desk are available to assist with all requests 24 hours a day.
